👉 The Free Creative Challenge Is Live ✨

If you’ve been following along for a little while, you’ll know I’ve been quietly putting something together behind the scenes. A small cosy email list for my Etsy clipart shop

Today I’m really happy to finally share it with you 💗

When you join, you’ll receive a small creative welcome - something designed to help you get started straight away, without pressure.

This is my free 5 Product Clipart Challenge, designed to help you create more, with less overwhelm and to gently build confidence in your design process.

And yay!!! There’s a free clipart mini pink bow pack included too.

✨ What is the 5 Product Clipart Challenge?

The idea is simple:

Take one piece of clipart and turn it into five different products or designs

No pressure. No rules. No “right” outcome.

It’s all about practising:

  • working with a single idea and discovering how much you can do with what you already have

  • This is the exact approach I use in my own design work, and it’s one of the biggest reasons I’m able to build collections without feeling stuck or overwhelmed.

🎀 What’s included when you join

When you sign up for the free challenge, you’ll receive:

    • 📘 The 5 Product Clipart Challenge Workbook

    • 🎀 A free pink bow mini clipart pack (commercial use included)

    • 💡 Gentle prompts to help ideas flow quickly

    • 🌿 Access to my Sandra Loves Creating Hub, where I keep all my freebies, tools, and inspiration in one place

Everything is delivered by email, so you can go at your own pace and dip in whenever it suits you.

💗 Who this is for

This free challenge is perfect if you:

  • Enjoy creating with clipart

  • Feel like you have ideas but don’t always know where to start

  • Want to design more intentionally without spending hours

  • Are a designer, crafter, journal lover, or creative business owner

  • Like calm encouragement

If you like creating at your own pace, I think you’ll feel right at home.

🧸 A little extra joy along the way

From time to time, you’ll also meet Bylo, a small bear who pops up now and then inside my emails and resources.

He doesn’t do much… just quietly reminds you that creativity doesn’t have to be serious to be meaningful 🐻💗

🌱 What happens next

Once you’ve joined, I’ll be sending thoughtful, low-pressure emails with:

  • design ideas

  • mini tutorials

  • new freebies

  • subscriber-only discounts

  • and behind-the-scenes peeks at what I’m creating

No constant sales. No overwhelm. Always optional.

Same Trend, Two Very Different Looks

I thought I’d share a little about what I've been working on this week because it’s a great example of how one trend can work in completely different ways. The trend in question is That’s Amore . Italian-inspired bridal shower themes are everywhere right now: lemons, pasta, wine, handwritten menus, relaxed table styling. Pinterest is full of them, and they’re proving really popular with clients too. But what’s interesting isn’t just that the trend is popular. It’s how differently it can be interpreted. Looking at Trends From Two Angles Whenever I spot a trend like this, I tend to look at it from two sides: as a stationery designer creating finished invitations and event pieces and as someone creating clipart for other designers to use in their own work And one thing has become very clear: The same trend can suit completely different people depending on how it’s styled. So instead of creating one single “That’s Amore” look, I explored the theme in two very differ...

How to Use Design Trends Without Starting From Scratch

Design trends can feel exciting… and slightly overwhelming at the same time. Especially if you feel like you’re supposed to reinvent everything just to keep up. Why trends can feel daunting Trends move fast, and it’s easy to feel behind if you’re trying to design from scratch every time something new pops up. You spot one gaining momentum, feel that familiar pressure to act quickly, and suddenly it seems like everything needs redesigning. New colours. New graphics. New layouts. All at once. But what if trends didn’t have to mean starting over? Why I don’t start from scratch After working with printable designs for a while, I’ve found a simpler approach - one that feels more sustainable, more creative, and far less stressful. Instead of redesigning entire products, I prefer to: 💛 Start with layouts buyers already love 🧱 Keep the basic structure consistent ✨ Introduce subtle trend elements Sometimes that’s: A colour refresh A small graphic swap A style t...
