Same Trend, Two Very Different Looks

I thought I’d share a little about what I've been working on this week because it’s a great example of how one trend can work in completely different ways. The trend in question is That’s Amore . Italian-inspired bridal shower themes are everywhere right now: lemons, pasta, wine, handwritten menus, relaxed table styling. Pinterest is full of them, and they’re proving really popular with clients too. But what’s interesting isn’t just that the trend is popular. It’s how differently it can be interpreted. Looking at Trends From Two Angles Whenever I spot a trend like this, I tend to look at it from two sides: as a stationery designer creating finished invitations and event pieces and as someone creating clipart for other designers to use in their own work And one thing has become very clear: The same trend can suit completely different people depending on how it’s styled. So instead of creating one single “That’s Amore” look, I explored the theme in two very differ...

Meet Bylo Bear 🐻

A little bear with a big job who  might pop up from time to time! That’s Bylo Bear 🤍 He might be waving hello, holding a heart, celebrating something small, or just quietly keeping you company while you create. And while he’s undeniably cute, he’s here for a reason. Why a bear? Creating, especially designing, learning new skills, or building something of your own, can sometimes feel quite overwhelming. Bylo is simply a reminder that: you don’t need fancy tools to make something good tiny steps really do add up progress doesn’t have to be rushed and creativity is allowed to feel calm and enjoyable In short, he’s here to quietly say: you’re doing okay. Sometimes he’ll appear alongside a freebie or a challenge in my emails and social media. Sometimes he’ll just say hello. Where you’ll see him You’ll spot Bylo: in my emails now and then tucked into the Sandra Loves Creating Hub in seasonal or celebratory social posts occasionally alongside tips, freebies, or l...
